He was most helpful, I decided to replace both belts so he found one similar to the large belt too. I looked up on the internet for parts with no luck so I found a shop that sells different belts for a variety of products and took my pieces to show the man for something similar. So I opened the back and soon figured out why it didnt rotate - one of the belts had broken into flimsy pieces. We have been expecting it to die for many years but it has kept going strong, served us well without a hitch. Albeit I was very upset when it stopped rotating because i would have to throw it out and get another which I was sure wouldnt be as good.

We purchased this microwave in Perth and it has worked well from the day of purchase until this year (2018) even though it has had no maintenance whatsoever other than being wiped out when needed. We bought this in 1981 before we got married, not 1998 as listed but this page wouldnt let me put 1981 in and the field is required to be filled to submit this post. They dont make anything this good anymore.

Read more it best of all is still bigger inside than a lot of the new models on market, i think my microwave will out live me, still have the original manual or book for it this machine has defrost settings, auto reheat, auto start, auto weight control probably one of the best things ever bought, 2019 still going strong and will keep going for longer yet, also has another function where you can set 2 delay start times I bought a national microwave back in late 1985 700 w model NN 7506 never broken down the on thing gone wrong is the globe used blow about every every 10 years but the micro wave still works every day day in day out never had to change anything but blown light bulb my turntable goes in both directions eitĬh ever it does at time it can be programed for timed starts or delayed starts up to bout 2 or 3 days great machine still going strong after 34 years just keep it clean inside and out otherwise never touch.
